Nutrition: Call for Information -- What Has Been Most Helpful to You?

by John S. James

Summary: You can help us prepare nutrition information by telling us what has worked best (or not worked) for you.

----------------------------------------

We are preparing an article about how to find useful nutrition information for people with HIV, on the Web or elsewhere. If nutrition information or intervention has made a difference for you, you could help us.

(1) Can you recommend any Web sites, books, or other sources of information that were particularly useful to you?

(2) If you have worked with a nutritionist or other health-care professional knowledgeable about nutrition, how useful has that consultation been to you? How could it be improved? (We do not need names, as we are not doing a directory of professionals.)

(3) Have any particular nutritional interventions worked especially well for you? Have any been harmful?

Please reply by November 1, 2004, if possible. We prefer email, but you can also mail or phone us. Send email to aidsnews@aidsnews.org with the word "nutrition" (without the quotes) in the message Subject line. Or send mail to AIDS Treatment News, 1233 Locust St. 5th floor, Philadelphia, PA 19107. Or call toll-free: 1-800-TREAT-1-2. Be ready to leave a message on the voicemail if necessary.
